Providence Rest Home was established in 2002 as a Section 21 Company (Non Profit Organisation) by a group of friends from the Westville New Church, at 8 Winslow Road, Westville North.

The founding group are directors of the holding company, and the home is run by a Management Committee.

Providence Rest home has a full time matron who is assisted by a panel of part time SRN’s, a Staff Nurses, an Enrolled Nursing Assistant (ENA), and seven care givers. The remaining staff comprise the cook and the gardener. All of the senior staff are highly qualified and have extensive experience in the care of the aged.

The home is run under a Christian ethos with an intention to provide loving care for the elderly in our community. The directors are hands-on with the day-to-day running of the home, including maintenance; shopping; activities and companionship.
