Cottages:

There are 3 cottages which are designed for a married couple or single person, who are capable of completely independent living not requiring any nursing care.

The cottages are self contained units of approximately 45 m2 each, and comprise of a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, and an open plan kitchenette, dining room and living room. Each cottage has it’s own verandah, looking out onto the gardens. The cottages are purchased on a “life right” basis, and there is a monthly levy payable.

Main House:

In the main house there are six bedrooms, of which two are double rooms. There are four bathrooms in the main house, two of which serve the frail care and two for the other residents.

Frail Care:

The frail section comprises a total of six beds in three areas to facilitate the separation of male and female occupants. The frail section also has it’s own large lounge.

While the frail section is generally reserved for existing residents who in time will reach frailty, the Management Committee may consider admitting persons who are already frail, should space permit.

Step Down Care:

Our frail care facility is open to patients requiring a step down facility in transition between hospital and home. This is open to all ages excepting children.

Social and family areas:

We have a large verandah at the rear of the house looking out over the pool which has direct access from two of the rooms as well as the large dining room. We encourage families to come and visit, braai, swim and enjoy time with their loved ones at their home and garden. The garden is also big enough for children to run around safely.

My mother-on-law, Beryl, is very happy in the home and Margi and I are extremely impressed with the staff and everything at the home.

You made me feel so welcome and part of the family. You do a super job in taking care of everyone on an invidual level. You have made a lovely home away from home here in the way you are to everyone.
